Safenity is an android app that addresses the issue of insecurity.
It consists of three main elements:1) map 2) geofencing 3) messaging.
The map shows the most dangerous areas and notification pops out when the user crosses them.
As a result, the user will be informed and more alert.In case of an emergency the user can send a text message containing the personal information and current location to the phone number, which a user has to write in the settings .
The app will continue sending user’s location every 10 seconds.

The app widget is available.
Use it to quickly access the sending messages function.
Safenity ensures that the user will come home safe and sound.
NOTE: This is our first version, therefore we are only tracking the 3 biggest Lithuanian cities - VILNIUS, KAUNAS and KLAIPEDA.
Also, we are not using the emergency dispatch center function.
